We hired our driver, Sonia, for the three days in Beaune. She was incredible and very professional. We got a van for the four of us. Very comfortable, very reasonable. Based out of Dijon. Very highly recommended! We did not have to drive once after arriving in Beaune.

We booked a full day, and it was one of our favorite days of the trip. Our tour guide Sonia was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the local wines, geography, and culture. We are hardly wine connoisseur, but felt more than adequate to tackle fancy wine with her help. The day included a visit to a larger winery in the morning on the way to Beaune. This included a tasting of three chardonnay and three pinot noirs, including premier and grand crus. The cellar was amazing to look around in, and the ambiance while tasting was great. Sonia told us about the different years and what kind of crops those produced, as well as what to look for when buying the wines. It was very helpful. We drove along the roads and even stopped at Domanee Conti just to take a picture outside the winery known for some of the most EXPENSIVE wines in the world. Sadly, we didn't taste any, but they don't really do that there. On the way back to Dijon we stopped at another winemaker, but this one, a small "boutique" winemaker. The house was absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous Burgundy roof. We loved our visit here and loved the wines. Once again, three Chardonnay, and three Pinot Noir. On our way back to Dijon, we took the road through each of the little villages just to get a feel for each little town. I would recommend to anyone, wine expert or not. It was a great day in a great region of the country!
Beautiful scenery and educational tour. My knowledge of Burgundy wine was very limited before this trip, but I learned loads in one day about the regions, the classifications, and how to read the labels etc. The drive through all the vineyards is beautiful (we were helped by perfect weather), and our guide (Sonia) was very knowledgeable and lovely. (Sonia so sorry we didn't think about tipping until later; please let us know if there is a way we can transfer it to you). We tasted 12 wines, including grands crus, and didn't feel any pressure to buy (though I did a couple of bottle). Highly recommended.
Sonia is an excellent guide. Sonia's knowledge of the area and the wines is amazing. Having her take us through two Châteaus and the tasting of their wines was truely educational and fun. The villages and vineyards are really beautiful. We are very thankful for the full day tour. Thank you Sonia for a memorable Burgundy wine experience.

We were totally happy with the tour. Our guide, Sonia, arrived exactly on time. The car was very comfortable. Sonia was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of wine making, the Burgundy area and the individual vineyards and their wines. She has a personality which made our afternoon both informative and also a lot of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed her company. We would certainly recommend the company and our duide to friends.
